The Studio
Burnt Orange Studio is uniquely located in an area formerly known as Tin Pan Alley in downtown Louisville, MS. This area was known to be the spot to go to have fun and hear some good ol' fashioned front porch pickin'. The music is still alive and kicking back in the alley and many people have stated that they can feel the history of the place just from standing in the studio.
Jason Stewart
Production
Jason Stewart has been surrounded by music from birth.
Jason's family has worked in the music industry since the early 1920s such as The Ron Blackwood Quartet a family gospel group that still performs to this day. Jason has played with or worked with many bands starting in the 1980s. He has also owned and managed several venues over the past 25 years so he understands both sides of the business. Playing an instrument, running sound, production and management of artist over the years gives him the edge on helping artist in many genres to find that sound they are looking for. Always pleasant, respectful and sincere about music and the artist that perform he will give 100% on each and every project.
Josh Millward
Engineer
Music has consumed Josh's life since he was young. First starting out singing in the youth choir in his church and graduating to the chancel choir, being involved in both band and choir throughout his middle and high school careers, presented with both the Arion Award and the John Phillip Sousa Award in high school. Josh has always had an ear for music and started providing sound reinforcement services for various purposes in 1988. This has provided him a tremendous amount of experience in all genres of music. Josh has worked with many of the greatest artists in the USA as a provider of audio systems and equipment. This has grown into his desire to record and produce music, thus working more closely with the musicians and artists. Josh understands the artist's need to get it right and certainly isn't beyond doing another take to see which one works best.
